Salon Policy

UPDATED BOOKING POLICY.

Due to limitations on our capacity pursuant to CDC guidelines and D.C.’s reopening orders, our availability will be limited and it is even more important that appointments are kept. Therefore, we will require a deposit equal to 50% of your expected service charges to secure your appointment.  If you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment time, we will refund your deposit in full. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or are a no-show, your deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Your appointments are very important to our POSH Salon team professionals.  We hold your appointments just for you and that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointments, please provide us with 24-hour notice. This way, our team professionals will be able to adjust their schedules accordingly and we may be able to accommodate clients on our waiting list.  We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency, etc. However, if last minute cancellation or “ no show “ become a habit, you will be charged a cancellation fee. Here’s our general breakdown of cancellation fees:

.  Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved appointment (s)

. NO SHOWS’ will be charged 50% of service amount on your next visit.

 As a courtesy, you’ll get a  confirmation once your appointments are set via text/email and a reminder confirmation again at least 24hours prior to your appointments. If we are unable to reach you and only leave a message, or cannot reach you at all, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees.  You’re always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.

Deposits Policy 

Stylist: A non-refundable deposit must be taken for lengthy appointments such as Brazilian blowout or Keratin treatment or HairTalk extensions. 50% of the service must be paid before the appointment can be set up. Any changes or cancellations must be done at least 24 hours before the appointment or the client will lose the appointment and the deposit.

Waxing: A non-refundable deposit must be taken when the waxing service is 30 mins or longer for new clients. The deposit must be 50% of the service. Any changes or cancellations must be done at least 24 hours before the appointment or the client will lose the appointment and deposit. 

Nail techs: A non-refundable deposit must be made when booking new clients. If it’s a single service then it is $25, if it is more than one service then $40. Any changes or cancellations must be done at least 24 hours before the appointment or the client will lose the appointment and the deposit .

Late/ Tardy Policy

We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. It happens, we know! However, your tardiness can affect the remainder of our guests and our  teams’ schedules by delaying our team to be ready for their guests who come in on time for their appointments. So please let us know asap if you think you might be late so we can adjust our schedules accordingly for our guests.

Again, please remember that your appointments are reserved for you & only you.  These policies allow us the opportunity to alert our standby clients of any openings, therefore allowing us to provide the best service possible.  We very much appreciate your business and compliance with our policies. Guarantee Services

We always want you to be 100% satisfied with your services.  If you’re not 100% satisfied, we ask that you contact us within 5 days of your appointment so that we may schedule you to have your services corrected free of charge.  Any issues reported longer than 5 days from the original appointment date will not immediately be considered a redo but will be assessed on a case by case basis.
